Yes, return shipping costs and any customs duties related to the return remain the responsibility of the customer. Before arranging your shipment, we invite you to contact us at info@donewatches.ch so that we can agree on the best return solution and avoid any inconvenience.
5. Warranty
Each DONE watch comes with a 2-year warranty from the date of receipt, covering any manufacturing defects under normal use conditions.
The warranty covers original defects related to manufacturing or assembly. It does not apply to damage caused by impact, improper use, exposure to extreme conditions, or unauthorized intervention on the movement. [See Detailed Conditions]
Write to us at info@donewatches.ch, describing the problem and attaching photos if possible.
We evaluate each situation individually and offer you the best solution, whether it's a repair, a replacement, or a refund.
6. Maintenance and Use
We are not necessarily in favour of unnecessary preventative maintenance, but a complete service every 5 to 7 years is still recommended to preserve the performance of the movement in the long term. This includes cleaning, lubrication, adjustment and water-resistance testing. For all enquiries, please contact us at info@donewatches.ch.
For automatic models, turn the crown a few times before wearing to provide sufficient power to the movement.
For manual models, wind the movement using the crown until fully wound, without forcing it at the end of the winding.
All DONE watches are water-resistant to 10 ATM, which means they can withstand static pressure equivalent to 100 meters deep. This water resistance is perfectly suited for swimming and common water activities. However, it is not suitable for scuba diving, which requires specific ISO 6425 certification and a minimum threshold of 20 ATM.
Avoid prolonged exposure to water and sun for leather and textile straps. Cleaning with clear water is sufficient for rubber and metal straps (important after immersion in salt water). The quick release system allows you to change straps in seconds, without tools.
7. Swiss Made
The Swiss Made label is governed by Swiss law and guarantees that at least 60% of the manufacturing value of the watch head is produced in Switzerland, that the movement is Swiss, that product development is carried out in Switzerland, and that the final quality control is performed there.
The Swiss Made label is a requirement that we fully respect. Each watch is developed and assembled with the utmost care in the canton of Neuchâtel. For the sake of transparency, some external components come from carefully selected foreign suppliers in whom we have the utmost confidence.
The movement, adjustment, assembly, and final inspection are entirely carried out in Switzerland.
